JAM FOR JAM is a 5th year project founded in WI by Midwest musicians. The project raises financial and physical donations through music and other performing arts. The gained resources are used to improve shelter and community conditions in inner-island Jamaica. Our most recent projects have taken place in Porus, Jamaica near the city of Mandeville in the Manchester province. Over the years, we have done over 15 roofs and many other small carpentry projects. We involve the youth and other capable community members to provide education and direction to these folks. None of the funds generated are used for airfare, hospitality, recreation, or other personal gain.
