Description
As a follow up to ADPSR's green jobs/ home energy retrofit symposium in 2009, we are looking at this massive industry roll out, one year later. With federal stimulus money greasing the wheels and the California's Public Utilities Commission gearing up to meet AB32 emission targets, 13 million existing homes are slated to be retrofitted by 2020. The goal is to reduce energy by 30% to 70% in single and multi-family homes. Bruce Mast and Peter Crabtree will talk about efforts to build capacity in the business and academic communities. Andy Mannle has a broad overview of the entire state effort from AB32 assessment districts to the new marketing and lead generation programs. And ADPSR is asking that key question - WHAT ABOUT WATER? Thanks to Richard Harris, we will know more about that on February 16th.
