Urban Fairytale: Theatre Uncut
Urban Fairytale Theatre Company - UFTC in collaboration with Govanhill Theatre Group present Theatre Uncut.
Theatre Uncut was created to get people thinking, talking and taking action on the events that are happening in the world around them. The idea is simple. Playwrights from a selection of countries are asked to write brand new short plays in response to their current political situation. These scripts are then made available for anyone to perform anywhere.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL BE DONATED TO AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL.

We will be presenting 6 Theatre Uncut scripts:
The Finger Of God by Anders Lustgarten
Reset Everything by Inua Ellams (play co-commissioned by Play, Pie and a Pint at Oran Mor)
The Most Horrific by Vivienne Franzmann (play co-commissioned by Bristol Old Vic)
The follow plays were created from this year's collaborative project between Theatre Uncut and Istanbul-based DOT Tiyatro.

A Lesson in Lynching by Ayfer Tunc
Smoke (and Mirrors) by Stef Smith
There are 3 directors working on the project: Lesley Eadie, Scott Robert and Terri Jones.
Our actors are: George Carson, Dionne Frati, Jamie Easdon, Emma Sullivan, Roshine McVitie, Joe Rising, James Robson, Caron Brand, Dan McIntosh, Stewart Campbell, Pinar Aksu, John Wilde, Sam Zvimba, Marta da Silva, Melanie Wishart, Julia Keyes, Heather Hardcastle and Eylul Dogan.
