Northwest Tall Tale Challenge
The Northwest Tall Tale Challenge is a competition that provides an outlet for Northwest Storytellers to enjoy their craft in the presence of an audience and a chance to win a trophy for the top placings in addition to the trip for the first prize winner to the National Story Telling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Storytellers from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Northern California are invited to compete. The event will be held at Inn at the Commons, Medford Oregon on August 29, 2015.
Tickets cost $20 for Adults and $15 for Children 0-17 and Seniors 65+.
The Northwest Tall Tale Challenge was created to benefit the Medford Senior Center who provides services for seniors in Southern Oregon in a supporting, stimulating atmosphere. The services offer opportunities for educational, social, and physical activities as well as opportunities to serve others- all with the purpose of allowing seniors to remain active and age in place.
