The 14th Annual Trinity Jazz Festival features some of the finest jazz talent in America and this year Trinity will be featuring Triosence a German Jazz Group which will be their first America Performance and the featured act the famous New York Voices!

7 PM - VIP Dinner - Doubletree Hotel, Greenway Plaza
The festival kicks off on Friday January 23 with an elegant VIP dinner and live entertainment in the Plaza Room atop the Doubletree Hotel in Greenway Plaza at 6:30PM. The evening will feature a seated dinner and live music featuring Houston vocal artist Julie Johnson in a "Tribute to Lady Day". Live Entetainment and Dinner: $125 per person price includes a seated dinner and live entertainment. Seating for 100 attendees.

8:15pm Triosence
Leading off the evening's performance at 8:15PM is the Award winning German group "Triosence". Formed in 1999 Triosence has won almost every Jazz competition there is to win in Germany. They received first prize at the German Federal competition "Jugend Jazz". They won the Ostsee (Baltic Sea) Jazz Festival , the "Kulturfordepreis" of the City of Kassel and many more. Furthermore, they were nominated by the German Record Review Award for being the best newcomers ofthe German International Jazz Charts. This will be their first appearance in the United States.

9:30 PM - Featured Act - The New York Voices
2013 marked New York Voices 25th Anniversary in music. The Grammy Award winning vocal group has refined their musical story to a high art. They are known for their close-knit voicings, inspired arrangements an unparalleled vocal blend. Their chameleon like musicianship allows them to move seamlessly from setting to setting be it orchestral/big/ band ,to the intimate trio lineup. With deep interest rooted in jazz, Brazilian, R & B, classical and pop, their music mixes traditional sensibilities with more than a dash of the unexpected.
Returning this year a performance at 6:30 by the jazz group, COTS Jazz Crew, whose members consist of formerly homeless but talented musicians who are turning their lives around. COTS Jazz Crew will perform during the pre-concert receptions.
