The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife
From the celebrated writer of the cult classics Sordid Lives and Daddy's Dyin': Who's Got the Will? comes the tale of Willi, a long suffering housewife filled with regret and trapped in an abusive relationship with her husband J.D. who won't allow her to get job or reach out to their estranged gay son. When hot new thing Rayleen moves to the trailerpark and disrupts her life, Willi, along with the support of her sharp tongued best friend La Sonia, takes matters into her own hands as she struggles to seek her own identity. Part laugh out loud comedy and part domestic drama, Willi's life is narrated by a mysterious blues singer who provides a musical soundscape to Willi's strife and struggle.
