Block 5 is based on the true story of an incident at Mauthausen concentration camp during World War II. The play was written by local playwright/director J.E. Ballantyne Jr. When first performed in 2005, Block 5 won 10 Marquee Awards, which honor the best in Mahoning Valley theater. The current production will include many of the original cast members, including key roles played by John Cox, Tim McGinley, Glenn Stevens, C. Richard Haldi and Alan McCreary.

Dinner and a Show package includes an exquisite dinner prepared by talented local chef Stephan Grant consisting of choice of prime rib with au jus or chicken marsala, salad, roll, garlicky green beans, mashed potatoes and choice of a chocolate mousse tower or cheesecake. Coffee and iced tea are included and additional beverages are available for purchase. A reserved seat for the show is also included in the ticket price of $35 per person. Groups of 8 or more are $30 each. Reservations are required and must be received by January 29. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling 330-482-9647.
