Vandana Bali returns to Martuni's Lounge on Saturday, February 17th at 6:30PM! Catch this rising star before she leaves for London and beyond!
Born in India with a voice destined to sing The Great American Songbook, this cabaret singer can belt out power ballads effortlessly and move on to Broadway and jazz standards with ease. Bali has performed at the Plush Room and other venues in San Francisco, in New York City and in Europe and was named one of the Top Ten performers of 2006 by the Bay Times. Bali has received rave reviews for her "incredible variety of approaches"... "great charisma"...and a voice with "...colors of Barbra Streisand." Her show features her broad range, from quiet and subtle melodies to Broadway's best and original songs written just for her.
