Dance, Fools, Dance! is an original production by the USA Dance Seattle Performance Team, in which the audience discovers what happens when bored Gods, left to their own devices, decide to pass the time by toying with Mortals in their quest for Love. Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, is determined to find the perfect match for Hope, but are her motives pure, or is she just trying to win a game? Ares, God of War, will do whatever he can to thwart Aphrodites plans, while Hermes lends a helping hand and Athena offers guidance from the sidelines. Meanwhile, Hope searches for Love in all the wrong places with all the wrong men. Will Aphrodite find her a perfect match? Perhaps Andrew, who admires Hope from afar, will finally gain the courage to approach her before its too late. With their friends offering unsolicited and conflicting advice and the Gods pulling their strings, will they ever find True Love? Dance, Fools, Dance! is the 4th production of its sort created and performed by the USA Dance Seattle Performance Team. The show was written by a member of the team, and features 15 original dances, choreographed by members of the team and local dance professionals.
Note: Students: please show student ID for discount. Senior tickets are available for our patrons 60 and over. Discount tickets are available for children 12 and under for the Saturday matinee show.
