Savannah Blu (www.myspace.com/savannablugrass)
Savanna Blu brings a wide variety of musical perspectives and experience together in one fine band. Individually they have played with greats like Willie Nelson, Alison Brown, Vassar Clements, they have made their way in touring bands and onto the stage in bands local to the Bay Area. So together, with Gary Kaye on Banjo, Dore Coller on guitar and dobro, Dave Hanks on mandolin, Steve Kallai on fiddle and Dan Large on bass, their show is not to be missed.
Emily Bonn & The Vivants (www.myspace.com/emilybonnmusic)
Emily Bonn performs original foot stompin' tunes about riots, hollers & highways. Her melodies sprout from traditional cajun, country, western swing and old-time music. As a former member of the critically acclaimed country band, The Whoreshoes, she shared stages with the legendary rockabilly singer, Wanda Jackson, Old Crow Medicine Show and Devil Makes Three. Emily honed her honky-tonk chops performing in San Francisco BART stations, Belgian prisons and at the world-renowned Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival 2007.
