This hysterically poignant play by Seeing Place Artistic Director Brandon Walker provides an entertaining look at the modern-day struggles of three twenty-something New Yorkers in the current economic recession. Ira Trask, a lonely and struggling actor, decides that New Years Eve, 2008 will be his last day in New York City - and what better way to break in the new year than with a holiday hooker? Only one problem: she turns out to be an old flame from his childhood, Cassie, who has just been turned out onto the street. This unpredictable reunion is mediated by Keith, a trust fund baby who now delivers pizzas after losing all his money to Ponzi-schemer Bernie Madoff. During the course of the evening, Cassie, Ira and Keith all humorously struggle to face the compromises they must make in this troubling American recession. Featuring Heather Lee Harper, Joseph Mancuso, and Brandon Walker.

PJ Walsh just completed his 11th trip overseas to entertain. On Christmas Day he "tail hooked" onto the USS Nimitz Aircraft Carrier to bring laughs to those sailors. As a veteran, PJ has never forgotten the sacrifices made by U.S. military men and women. He has performed at Armed Forces facilities in Japan, Korea and the Balkans, and has made several trips throughout Iraq and Afghanistan. A New York native who is regarded as one of the hardest working comics behind a microphone, bringing everything to the stage at every show. PJ is known for his boundless energy and his often-insightful observations on the things he cherishes most: the military, family, and being American. He played a role in the Lionsgate feature film Delta Farce & received much acclaim at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO. A national headliner who has performed in every state. PJ has also preformed on such legendary stages as The Ryman Auditorium, Universal Amphitheatre & Radio City Music Hall to name a few. He hosted a hit Sirius Satellite radio show & was a performer at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. After just completing a 2 year acting intensive program at the prestigious William Esper Studio for Acting in NYC, PJ is in top form for this one-night-only gig with The Seeing Place.
