Lil Rev in Concert at Artichoke Music
The Midwest's Native son, Lil Rev, is a Uke Master, Storyteller, and multi-instrumentalist who specializes in good time music. Rev Performs Blues, Old Time, Folk, Yiddish, Originals, and Tin Pan Alley. He is a folksinger, because he like to hear the folks sing! Lil Rev's eclectic approach has won him much praise on the national scene. He has been called a "Wisconsin Treasure" by Ann Schmid-UWM-Folk Center, and "The Jewish Pete Seeger" -Rabbi Larry Milder. Rev describes himself as a cross between Ukulele Ike & Woody Guthrie!
Voted the best folksinger in Wisconsin in 2004 (WAMI), Lil Rev specializes in Blues, Rags, Folk, Old Time Country and Original instrumental music for the Ukulele. He is author of The Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book #1 & DVD, as well as his popular recordings The Fountain of Uke Volumes #1 & #2.
