Sunnyside Environmental School Annual Oxfam Hunger Banquet

Please join us in honoring Martin Luther King Jr. by attending Sunnyside Environmental School's Annual Oxfam Hunger Banquet on Monday, January 18, 2010, from 3-6pm. We are proud to announce that the event is being sponsored by Portland Doubletree this year, which allows us to increase our participant capacity, and thus expand our circle of influence.

Please invite your friends and come out for a memorable afternoon of education and food. Various non-profit organizations will also be present to help connect you with local opportunities for making a real difference toward ending hunger in our community.

Unique and memorable, the Oxfam America Hunger Banquet event allows organizers and participants alike to experience firsthand how our decisions affect others in the world.

After an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet event, few participants leave with full stomachs, but all possess a greater understanding of the problems of hunger and poverty and will hopefully be motivated to do something about them."
