PURE Cirkus' Wonderland
Capitol Hill Arts Center Seattle, WA
CHAC and PURE Cirkus present the second series of development workshops for an original re-telling of Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland, by CHAC Artist-in-Residence PURE Cirkus. "Wonderland" will merge elements of street performance, theatre, circus, opera, body modification and fire dancing with original tribal industrial music to tell the story of a little girl lost in a world of her own making. These performances are hallmarked by stunning costumes, demented "klowns", and jaw dropping acts of bravery revealing the human body in its "PUREst" form.
