center before the screen, mocking their favorite corny filmsturning sloppy
cinema into comic gold. Let the mockery of the Raspberry Brothers be the excuse
you need to finally see (or see again) Patrick Swayze recite these immortal words,
Nobody Puts Baby in a corner. Starring a pre-nose-job Jennifer Grey (Ferris
Bueller) and a testosterone-laden Swayze (Point Break), this sizzlingly cheesy tale
of love and dance tells the story of a young girl's coming of age at a Catskills Resort in the early 60's. Grey is adorable as Baby, an
idealistic young Jewish girl, and Swayze is at his ridiculous best as the macho dance instructor from the wrong side of the tracks.
Featuring Jerry Orbach (Law and Order), Wayne Knight (Newman from Seinfeld) and a bevy of 80's hits on the soundtrack ("The
Time of My Life", "She's Like the Wind"). Break out the capri pants and perms, its Dirty Dancing!
The Raspberry Brothers cast consists of writers and performers who also contribute to SNL and The Onion. And lead
Raspberry Brother, Jerm Pollet, has performed with this comedy format since 2000, with over $4,000,000 in ticket sales and a tv show
(his program, The Sinus Show, was on Austin, TXs NBC station).
