Shifty Sailors Shanty Fest
The "first annual" Shanty Fest on Whidbey Island featuring shantiers from the Pacific Northwest with concerts on Friday, January 22 at 7 pm and Saturday, January 23 at 7 pm. There will also be workshop/performances during the afternoon of Saturday, January 23. Performer(s) are the Shifty Sailors; Tom Lewis; the Cutters; Dan Maher; Chris Roe and the Rural Characters. This will be a fundraiser for Central Whidbey Hearts & Hammers, a non-profit group holds an annual one-day blitz to repair and rehabilitate the homes of homeowners physically or financially unable to do so alone. You can buy a $25 ticket to get into all the events of the Shanty Fest, or a single $15 ticket to get into either Friday or Saturday's concert.
