The concert will be an evening of live jazzy interpretations of traditional spirituals and other songs from the American Civil Rights Movement of the 1960sin keeping with The Spiritual Project's theme for the current season "Singing for Freedom: 50 Years Since Selma," marking the 50th anniversary of the historic march from Selma to Montgomery in Alabama in 1965.
