Fat Men in Skirts is an unconventional love story written by Nicky Silver and directed for Mercury Players by Monty Marsh. An eccentric and darkly funny comedy, Fat Men in Skirts explores human fragility under the most extreme conditions. Often compared to Durang in style, Silver juxtaposes the humorous and horrendous to create this bizarre, riveting, and hilariously macabre journey including a plane crash, two lone survivors, cannibalism, incest, and a re-entry into normal society.
Shrill, shocking and shockingly funny, Fat Men in Skirts makes for disturbing and exhilarating theatrical entertainment-- what more could you ask for from a night of dark comedy?
The cast features some of Madison's finest local talent: Blake Henderson, Chris Braunschweig, Jocelyn Fitz-Gibbon, Karen Moeller, Morgan Boland, Thom Anthony Rehwaldt

The performance runs approximately 2 hours including a 15-minute intermission.
