IMA - Mt Rainier Chapter November Meeting
Please join us for the monthly meeting of the IMA on November 19. The topic is Auditor's Views on Inventory & 2014 Tax Incentives, and we are very happy to have Craig Mayers & Holy Repp from Johnson, Stone & Pagano, P.S. in Fircrest as our guest speakers.
Craig will discuss auditor's views on inventory what is important, what businesses need to do, and what auditors look for during an engagement.
Holly Repp will discuss 2014 tax incentives and if there are any major savings out there to take advantage of before year end. She will also be discussing the current definition of research and development and who is eligible for this dollar for dollar tax credit along with an overview of Washington State sales tax issues for manufacturers.
Craig Mayers, MAcc, CPA, CGMA, is an audit manager with Johnson, Stone & Pagano, P.S. in Fircrest, Washington. Craig has more than 16 years of accounting experience, in both public and private. His professional interests include nonprofits, benefit plans, dealerships, retail, franchises, and manufacturing. Away from work, Craig enjoys making bullet-sized holes in paper targets and is working on his dismal golf game.
Holly Repp, MAcc, CPA, is a manager with Johnson, Stone & Pagano, P.S. in Fircrest, Washington. Holly has 10 years of accounting experience and currently focuses on federal and state tax compliance for construction, manufacturing, personal service companies and sole proprietors & individuals. Holly also is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Women in Networking.
