Balagan takes Sophocles' tale of Oedipus, from Oedipus Rex through Oedipus at Colonus, and develops a new work never before seen. Developed by the ensemble, Oedipus is the first Balagan created production from concept to script to stage.
Anyone who loves theatre, the important psychological concepts that these plays have fostered, or both, will want to see this production which runs at Balagan Theatre on Capitol Hill from May 13 to June 5. Shows run 8:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 7:00 p.m. on Sundays.
