The one and only all-female Tuvan throat-singing and folk music ensemble. Their distinctive music brings female harmonic vocal techniques together with the rarely heard and beautiful sounds of female throat-singing. Within their music lies a deep connection between Tuvan folk art and the sonic landscape of traditional Tuvan culture. Tyva Kyzy performs with a wide range of Tuvan folk instruments. Their vividly textured songs fill audiences with energy and emotion and bring to life the traditions and sonic landscapes of Tuva with humorous joy, nurturing sweetness and thundering power! Tyva Kyzy is back in the Northwest for their second US tour with some amazing new members!
