Replete with haunting lyrics, evocative vocals, and hypnotic melodies the music of ENEMY PLANES drifts effortlessly between melancholy and menace, hypnotic and hysteric, heartache and euphoria. The band manages to masterfully blend synth and guitar stylings to concoct a "tripnotic" sound that is distinctly their own. Since their inception in 2012, the band has maintained an aggressive nationwide touring regimen, supporting acts such as the Meat Puppets and The Hold Steady; with stops at SXSW, Summerfest, Daytrotter, and CMJ. The band recently joined forces with acclaimed director Tobias Stretch (Radiohead, Efterklang) to release their debut video for "We Want Blood". Filmed on historic Coney Island amidst the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, "We Want Blood" affords an unearthly glimpse into the heart of the band and a promising taste of things to come. ENEMY PLANES is currently touring and is releasing new music videos every other month throughout the year.
