Circus Finelli
Stage Werx San Francisco, CA
Witness the glory of Frau Bachfeifengesicht's circus spiraling into disaster. Trombones, knives, ukuleles, and samba score this circus comedy. Circus Finelli's new show features the fine arts of telephone juggling, paddleball, a lady stuck in a barrel, and classic vaudeville style music and slapstick. Enjoy pre-show face painting and games. Circus Finelli is San Francisco's all-women clown troupe, directed by Michael Gene Sullivan. Their shows are always exhibitions of the ridiculous, inspired by the European Circus and American Vaudeville. Circus Finelli is the only place where you can see the world-famous dancing cow "Martiqua." Martiqua's radiant talent can only be matched by "The Great Alecko," strongest man on Earth. He has returned from Mt. Olympus to exhibit the power of his force with dazzling feats of strength, live Werx Theatre.
"There's a cartoon quality to the sound effects and instruments that texture the string of acts, but its all dependent on live timing- nothing like you've ever seen on TV or in the movies. Humor and excitement are inextricable. -Ken Bullock, The Berkeley Daily Planet
