Veterans Reflect on the Iraq War: A Community Forum on the 2nd Anniversary, Featuring Josh Rushing

A community forum on the Iraq war from the perspective of those serving in the US armed forces.  Veterans will share first person experiences of the Iraq war and how these experiences have shaped their differing perspectives.  Featured speakers include:

FEATURED GUEST: Former Marine Capt. Josh Rushing, from the acclaimed 2004 documentary Control Room. Rushing spent 14 years in the Marines, and was a press officer stationed at the US Central Command during the Iraq war.

Former Marine Major Terry Thomas, combat veteran of the Iraq war, was engaged in ground fighting in Iraq during March and April of 2003. He currently serves on the board of the Seattle chapter of the Reserve Officers Assoc.

Former Navy Lt. John Oliveira, with a navy career spanning 20 years, is a veteran of the Iraq war, deployed in January 2003 to lead naval public relations in the Eastern Mediterranean.
