Best Feeding
Every time I went to the bookstore, or got gas, or stood in line at the grocery store I kept an eye out for her.
I was afraid of reaching for a pack of gum and she'd be there. That she would find me. First.
I looked for her on playgrounds and in traffic, in doctor's office waiting rooms and at my kinder-gardener's holiday pageant.
I hadn't seen her in over 15 years and she went with me everywhere.
I am sure time doesn't heal all wounds.
But I'm not sure what does.
Love is not enough. But love is all there is.
