Educating All Kinds of Minds: A Practical Model for Learning Director of the Clinical Center for the Study of Development and Learning, founder of the non-profit All Kinds of Minds Institute, and head of the Schools Attuned program, Mel Levine, M.D. brings his pioneering work to Seattle for an intensive one-day workshop for teachers, education administrators and child-development specialists. Using Dr. Levine's proven and acclaimed approach to learning differences, professionals will acquire greater understanding and practical knowledge about the individual strengths, weaknesses and variations of children at school. The presentation is based on Dr. Levine's nationally accepted programs offering a system of innovative tools to meet diverse learning needs and help each student succeed without applying labels. Parents are also welcome to attend. Washington State Educator Clock Hours will be available.
Note: Please note: The lecture format of this program is not entertaining for children. We respectfully request that children under 16 not attend this event to ensure the most productive experience for all. Snacks and lunch coupons will be included. Educator Clock Hours will require an additional $15 fee at the event. Dr. Levine's books will be available for purchase.
