Nearing the second anniversary of Gillian's tragic death, the family gathers back at the beachhouse where widower David continues to seclude himself. Through the love, support and urging of those around him, he struggles to re-embrace life without Gillian in this charming, inspiring and wonderful family drama that celebrates love, loss and life.
TO GILLIAN ON HER 37TH BIRTHDAY originally opened in 1983 at New York's Ensemble Studio Theatre starring Gates McFadden and Sarah Jessica Parker which was followed by an Off-Broadway run at Circle in the Square. A cinematic film adaptation was produced in 1996 starring Peter Gallagher, Clare Danes and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Note: It is Winter, but the show will always go on. Shows will only be cancelled if the Governor of NH declares a State of Emergency due to weather.
