Function Keys 2 takes place from November 14th to 16th 2014 at the Spice Factory, 121 Hughson st. North, in Hamilton. The conference includes a series of lecture style presentations, demos, workshops and maker showcase. Now in it's second year, "Function Keys" goal is to provide a space for artists, hackers, computer programmers, and interested community individuals to come together in discussion and share in learning about emerging trends in new technology.
The conference consists of a top roster of renowned speakers and specialists who are visionaries in their fields.

Weekend Workshops:
Build Your Own Mobile Music App Workshop (2-Days) Instructor: Adam Tindale
In this workshop participants will learn about and engage with a variety of programs and technologies to develop their very own Mobile Music App.
Raspberry Pi Workshop (2-Days) Instructor: Peter Rogers
This workshop will introduce participants to the unexplored potential of the Raspberry Pi-the hardware, software and its applications. The Workshop is designed to cater to all kinds be it a novice or a tech savvy artist or an expert developer extraordinaire.
Performance:
The Cybernetic Orchestra- Opening night performance Friday, November 14th , 9:30pm
The Cybernetic Orchestra will perform a mix of live coding improvisations and compositions, including among the latter those by our growing network of international friends and collaborators, new pieces by the current members of the orchestra and "classic" pieces reprised from the orchestra's two full-length albums.
