Monty Python and the Holy Grail Shout Out/Sing A Long
Bring Out Your Dead!
Ephrata Merchants and the Ephrata Main Theatre are showing the Lancaster Premier of the Monty Python Search for the Holy Grail Shout Out/Sing A Long Event, Saturday, November 1st. Continue your Halloween celebration and show your love of Monty Python by shouting and singing along with King Arthur, Sir Galahad the Pure, Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Bedevere the Wise and Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-as-Sir Lancelot.
Dress in costume for the Costume Contest, grab your most noble steed or set of coconuts and gallop over to the Ephrata Main Theatre, Downtown Ephrata. (No masks please!) Doors open at 8pm, with contests, prop bags for sale, Free Holy Grail balloon swords, cash bar and light faire will be available for this most hilarious and quotable movie. If you have dinner upstairs at Lily's on Main, show off your ticket and 10% of your bill will be donated to the Ephrata Merchants Association to assist in free events for the Ephrata Community.
The film screening starts at 9 p.m. and attendees all ages and notabilities are welcome to attend. The movie is rated PG. Most of the time movie goers are not allowed to talk during a film but this is more like watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail in your living room with a few friends, and everyone in the room will be singing or quoting along. Think of this screening as a bigger version of your living room! We will of course have cheat sheets available!
So follow, but follow only if ye be men of valor. For the entrance to this quote-along is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived. Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.
