From the Horse's Mouth celebrates Phyllis Lamhut
In celebration of her work as dancer, choreographer, teacher, mentor and overall force of nature in the community of dance, "From the Horse's Mouth" dedicates its next theater/dance event to Phyllis Lamhut in collaboration with Tisch Dance with proceeds going to the formation of THE PHYLLIS LAMHUT TISCH DANCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND! The performance will take place on November 8th at 7:00pm and 9:00pm in the Fifth Floor Theater at 111 2nd Avenue.
Created by Tina Croll and Jamie Cunningham, "From the Horse's Mouth" is a celebratory dance/theater production that has received standing ovations for its captivating story-telling and exceptional dancing, with rave reviews from critics around the United States. The 25 performers outstanding dancers and choreographers of all ages and dance traditions tell personal stories from their lives, then perform movement of their own choosing, sometimes interacting with another dancer. The stories range from humorous to poignant revealing personal moments of loss, joy, frustration, and triumph.
