Sunday Dec. 13 US debut of the Romani (gypsy) trumpet player Neshat Zekirov and NY's own Zlatne Uste Brass Band A trumpet player from the rich tradition of Macedonian Romani brass, Neshat is a consummate musician whose expressive improvisations reflect the fascinating flavors of gypsy music in the Balkans. He is the leader of the well recorded Maleshevski Melos Band.
