African Dinner
The Village Net invites you to join us for a buffet of African cuisine as we raise funds for our microloan programs. Copies of recipes for each featured dish will be available. Meet on video the staff and women borrowers in Ghana and Kenya. Enjoy singing and dancing by the Joybringers Youth group. Need gift ideas? Beads, baskets, and purses made by the women borrowers from the villages will be for sale.
Help us celebrate the success of the Bridge for Sustainability youth who raised $7,000 for the microloan program. We will meet (on video) some of the women microentrepreneurs that are being funded by that donation. The women have just started at the $50 level. We hope you will join us in following their progress over the next year(s). And we hope you will provide the opportunity for one hundred additional women living on an average of $1/day to empower themselves to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
