Where would Psycho be without shrieking violins? Or Clint Eastwood without his whistling entrance music? Filmmaker Glenn Andreiev (The Deed to Hell, The Make-Believers) is offering another of his informative, student-participation filmmaking classes, a one-day class on film music. Using samples of film music, Andreiev will trace film musics history, how movies benefit from music, the right and wrong use of music, the business of film music, where to get license free music for films, and more. Andreiev will demonstrate the details of great film scores with movie scenes playing with just the isolated music track, and different music tracks for the same scenes. Video editing tools will be available so students in the classroom can learn hands-on how to make a movie come alive with music.
