Dr. Krieger recently completed a modern history of Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa. Krieger has served in a wide variety of California professional and governmental offices and currently serves as Chair of the Centennial Committee for California, California Polytechnic State University. He is the immediate past-president of the California Mission Studies Association (2006-2012), and is the author of the forthcoming Chronicles of San Luis Obispo (History Press, 2015) based on a collection of his favorite columns from Times Past.  Dan serves as the volunteer curator and chair of the Museum Committee at Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa.
