Candy Cane Train 2014

All aboard the Candy Cane Train! Support literacy programs in your community while enjoying a scenic holiday train ride that is fun for the whole family! The Candy Cane Train will depart the Train Station in Bath, Maine on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14. There are four family trains each day, open to all ages. Departure times are 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. The train will travel from Bath to Wiscasset and return to Bath (total time of the trip is slightly under 90 minutes). Santa and his elves will be onboard and cookies will be served. Tickets are $18 for each passenger, regardless of age. All proceeds benefit Tri-County Literacy, a non-profit organization working in mid-coast Maine to improve lives through literacy.

1. Tickets are required for all passengers.

2. Passengers must board the train together in order to sit together. All adults should bring a photo ID.

3. Please do not bring food or beverages aboard the train.

4. All reservations are for "will call" tickets that are picked up inside the train station on the day of the event. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure time for ticket pick up.

5. Parking is available at the station and in several area parking lots within 1 block of the station.

6. Event will be held regardless of the weather. We regret that we cannot provide refunds for missed departures.

7. Please keep in mind that there are a limited number of restrooms on the train. We encourage use of restrooms in the train station prior to boarding.
