FIXED: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement
From botox to bionic limbs, the human body is more upgradeable than ever. But how much of it can we alter and still be human? What do we gain or lose in the process?
Award-winning documentary, FIXED: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement, rethinks "disability" and "normalcy" by exploring technologies that promise to change our bodies and minds forever.
The screening is sponsored by the Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering at the University of Washington. A brief panel discussion will follow the 60-minute film.
Ticket sales will support neuroethics research at our center.
FIXED will be shown with subtitles.
Student tickets $5 with ID; purchase at the Varsity box office.
