Behind the scenes of a production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, there's more drama off the stage than on it. Witness the birth of a play, from the beginning of rehearsals to the final performance and much of the work in between. In just two months, relationships begin, end, and reform as the show comes together and some lives fall apart.

A young director struggles to bring her vision to life. Her actors struggle to understand what she wants. And, of course, the stage manager struggles to keep it all together.

With a unique and honest view of the challenges and triumphs of putting on a play and falling in love, No More Than Reason sparkles with humorous dialogue and human emotion.

At turns both funny and touching, No More Than Reason, by local playwright Louise Penberthy, is being shown in showcase at the Little Red Studio for one weekend only.
