"Cheeses I'm Thank For"
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, providing us a wonderful opportunity to think about foods for which we are thankful. While traditional Thanksgiving fare is dominated by foods native to the New World, let us give thanks to the centuries of Old World cheese-making tradition that have inspired a thriving American artisan cheese industry.
Join Bi-Rite cheese buyer Anthea Stolz for a tasting of her favorite American cheeses and the rich stories behind each, and leave feeling thankful that American cheese means so much more than a floppy orange slice.
We also encourage you to bring the American cheese you are most thankful for to share with other class members (20 ppl).
