How To Write Like I Do with Karen Finneyfrock

Whether it's a book tour, lecturing, or reading poems, at some point all writers find themselves in front of an audience. Learn the tricks of the trade from a bona fide performance poet, and look like you know what you're doing up there.

Karen Finneyfrock has been honored as a Poetry Slam Legend. Her new book of poems, "Ceremony for the Choking Ghost" is forthcoming from Write Bloody Press. An alumna of Hedgebrook, Karen recently completed a novel titled "Celia, the Dark and Weird". She is a Writer-in-Residence at Richard Hugo House.

Note: This class is geared towards and is appropriate for adults. Aspiring writers under 18 years old are advised to check out the 826 Seattle writing workshops for students: www.826seattle.org All ticket buyers will be added to a check-in list; A ticket is not required. Coffee, water, writing implements, and paper will be provided.
