Melody Walker and Jacob Groopman in concert at Point Richmond Acoustic
With great songs, tight singing and fine picking, Melody Walker and Jacob Groopman are quickly becoming one of the most in demand new bluegrass acts in the USA. We are pround to say that they reside right here in Richmond, and we're pleased to have them at Point Richmond Acoustic. They'll be performing with Mike Witcher on Dobro. Mike is no stranger to our stage - you may have seen Mike with Peter Rowan's Big Twang Theory in December of 2012.
Point Richmond favorites Claudia Russell and Bruce Kaplan open the show. As a singer, and as a songwriter, Claudia has a voice that is unique and recognizable. American Songwriter has called Claudia's most recent CD, All Our Luck Is Changing, a masterpiece.
