Maricopa Music Circle Autumn Musicale
"Spotlight on Soloists", the delightful hour-long program is an intriguing and artistic sequence of works drawn from opera, ballet, stage -- and cartoons! Solo turns for individual musicians are highlighted throughout the performance in a mix that balances more-intimate scorings with full orchestral compositions. The music includes works by Mozart, Bizet, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Smetana, Saint-Saens, Fritz Kreisler, and Raymond Scott. The 7:30 PM musicale will be presented at First Baptist Church of Maricopa, 18705 John Wayne Parkway and a light reception will follow the performance.
