Arizona Derby Dames Banked Track - Season 10
ARIZONA DERBY DAMES ENCOURAGES A SCHOOLYARD RUMBLE AND HOLDS A ZOMBIE WEDDING AT BANKED TRACK ROLLER DERBY BOUT ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 11TH,2014

PHOENIX, AZ (SEPTEMBER 18, 2014) - ARIZONA DERBY DAMES. The Arizona Derby Dames continue their 10th season with a second double header banked track roller derby bout on Saturday, October 11th at the Hall of Dames. In the first bout, the Dames are pitting two classic schoolyard rivals against each other. The cool kids in the yard, the Brutal Beauties, will be picking a fight with juvenile delinquents, the Schoolyard Scrappers. It's well known that a team with nothing to lose is a dangerous opponent and both of these teams opened the season with a loss. Scrappers' Captain Nikki Badazz (#669) when looking
towards this bout was quoted, "I say bring it. My girls will be more than ready to put up a fight." Expect to see an exciting bout as the two underdogs look for supremacy in this brawl on the banked track. The second bout will be a match made in purgatory. Coming off their first win of the season, the undead Coffin Draggers will take on the
Season 9 Championship team, the Runaway Brides. Rising from the grave, the Draggers Captain Lelu Dallas MultiBash (#23) wanted to comment on their recent win against the Schoolyard Scrappers. "The Scrappers really upped their strategic game. It really prepared us to face the
Brides. We're going to face a fully rostered Championship team, but we're ready to put these Bridezillas in the grave."

Fans are encouraged to show up early as the Hall of Dames is expected to sell out once again for this bout. Arizona Derby Dames President Rowdy Roulette (#168) has advice for the fans, "We love our loyal fans, but our venue has a limited capacity. If you want to be guaranteed a track side seat, you should get your tickets ahead of time online at Brown Paper Tickets."

Immediately following the bouts, the Derby Dames will be headed to their official Afterparty at the Steel Horse Saloon. Come hang out your favorite skaters at Arizona's "Original" Biker Bar! Unfortunately for our younger Derby fans, Arizona law limits the after
party to adults 21 and over.

The Arizona Derby Dames are thankful for their loyal fanbase. The skaters have been training hard and are eager to deliver the same-speed entertainment their fans crave. Now in our 10th season, the Arizona Derby Dames are planning many throwback events to celebrate our history and our fans. Fans should stay tuned to the league's
social media pages for updates and additional information on upcoming events. The entire season schedule can be found on the Arizona Derby Dames' website (http://www.azderbydames.com).
