Ryukyu Charm V
Join us in welcoming back Chijinshu Wakati-da, Hidekatsu Kamei and Mion from Okinawa, Japan
This will be Chijinshu's sixth, Hidekatsu's third and Mion's second visit to Seattle.
Chijinshu is a professional Okinawan taiko group comprised of students aged 12 to 17 who audition to be selected to perform around the country to promote Okinawan cultural exchange.
Special guests Hidekatsu Kamei and his daughter Mion are both professional musicians in Okinawa.
Hidekatsu composed the popular Okinawa dance song called "Mirukumuna-ri" and his daughter, Mion, will entertain you with her beautiful voice.
You will be blown away by their energetic performance and professionalism and become lifelong fans.
UPDATE: Elementary school children accompanied by an adult get in FREE. Make it a family day!
