Sherry has come out of the drawing room and into todays hip restaurant, bar and lounge scene. In this guided tasting, North Squares sommelier and sherry expert, Raoul Segarra, will help us gain a new appreciation for this unique Spanish export. Well taste a wide range of sherries, each paired with authentic tapas prepared by North Squares inventive chef. As we sip and savor, we will learn about Spains unique solera system for making sherry and the nuances that distinguish a fino from an amontillado and an oloroso sherry. Its a far cry from that dusty bottle of Harveys Bristol Cream hidden on grandmas shelf!
