Hecho Sept 17- Special Hawaiian-Mexican pop-up event with Chef Lee Anne Wong (Top Chef, Unique Eats)
Join Chef Lee Anne Wong (Top Chef, Unique Eats) for a delicious Hawaiian-Mexican pop-up event at HECHO!
Chef Wong and Chef Shannon Wilkinson (Executive Chef/Owner of Little Water Cantina and HECHO) have been good friends for years and have cooked professionally together everywhere from the French Culinary Institute in New York City to Casa Oaxaca in Oaxaca, Mexico. They did a sold-out "China-Latina" event at Little Water Cantina a couple of years ago and are looking forward to along with Hecho chef Danny Ludwig to creating a new dinner event based on Lee Anne's latest culinary adventure - an awesome island brunch spot in Honolulu that focuses on utilizing Hawaiian produce (Koko Head Cafe). Chef Wong also recently published a new cookbook, Dumplings All Day Wong, that includes a recipe for "Hamburger Wontons with Lychee Ketchup" she and Shannon came up with many years ago.
