"Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare
Common Ground Theatre Durham, NC
You've never seen "Romeo and Juliet" like this.
Perhaps the most well-known of all Shakespeare's plays, "Romeo and Juliet" continues to captivate audiences almost four hundred years after it was written. It tells the tale of the famous "star-crossed lovers" who fall in love despite a bitter and violent feud between their two families.
This is a modern take on the play, but the text remains Shakespeare's original language.
Bare Theatre brings its trademark intensity, both physically and emotionally, to this timeless masterpiece. This production will mark the directorial debut of veteran Bare actor, Jesse R. Gephart, and will feature fight choreography by Heather J. Hackford and costumes by Jeremy David Clos.
Note: Seating is general admission, so arrive early for the best seats!
