CoMo Christian Men's Conference
Important Information for 2015 Conference Ticket Holders
DETAILS: The conference is being held Saturday, February 7th at the Missouri Theatre at 203 S. Ninth St. in downtown Columbia, Mo. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. Auditorium will open for seating at 8:20 a.m. This event is completely SOLD OUT. There is no reserved seating for this event. Seating in the auditorium and balconies will be available on a first come, first served basis.
PARKING: To avoid feeding meters during the day, we strongly recommend that you park in one of the nearby parking garages. The closest garage to the Missouri Theatre is the Hitt Street Garage on the University of Missouri campus. You can access that garage either from Watson Place, Hitt Street or from Elm Street. There are also city-owned garages within a short walking distances at the corners of Sixth and Cherry, Eighth and Cherry, and Tenth and Cherry. The entrance to the theatre is on Ninth Street near Locust St. All of these garages offer FREE parking on Saturdays. If you are traveling by bus, we recommend parking in Lot RC18 at the intersection of Sixth and Elm Streets. This lot is approximately three blocks from the theatre.
BRING YOUR TICKETS: Please bring your paper ticket or printed receipt that was sent to you from our ticket vendor, "Brown Paper Tickets." Present your ticket to the ticket takers as you enter the theatre. Ticketholders who have chosen the "Mobile Tickets" option may experience delays due to the difficulty associated with scanning mobile devices. Please allow extra time to complete the registration process.
BRING TWO PENS: You'll want to take notes at this conference and pens will not be provided this year. Bring a pen for yourself and one for the guy next to you who always forgets to bring a pen!
MEN ONLY: This event has been planned exclusively as an event for MEN. While we absolutely love women, we ask that you please respect this request. The dynamic of this conference has been designed to reach men on a very candid level in an environment where they can be authentic, transparent and emotionally vulnerable. As iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another. Thanks for your understanding of this request.
RAIN OR SHINE: This event will be held regardless of weather or any other unforeseen natural disaster! Please check the event website (www.CoMoChristian.com) on the morning of the event for the absolute final word.
LEAVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN YOUR CAR: There will not be a coat-check available at the theatre. Every seat in the theatre will be occupied by a human being. For your comfort and the comfort of those around you, please leave coats, jackets, hats, umbrellas, etc. in your car.
RESTRICTIONS: Due to copyright restrictions, this event may not be videotaped or recorded without express written consent of the coordinator. Cell phone use is strictly prohibited in the theatre. Attendees caught using a cell phone during the conference will be subject to arrest, deportation and public humiliation!
CONFERENCE T-SHIRTS: We've designed a really cool T-Shirt (see attached for design) to commemorate this year's conference. We have a very limited supply of sizes Medium through 3XL in a pre-shrunk 100% cotton. BRING MONEY: There will be opportunities at this conference to purchase books published by our speakers and to contribute to our scholarship fund for men who would not normally have the financial resources to attend the conference. If you think you may be interested in either of these opportunities, please be sure to bring cash or a checkbook as we will not be able to accept credit cards at this event. Donations to our scholarship fund can be made payable to the CoMo Christian Men's Coalition.
DIETARY RESTRITIONS: A box lunch consisting of a turkey or roast beef sandwich, cookie, pickle spear and chips will be provided to all attendees. Due to the volume of men who will be served lunch in a short period of time, we are unable to accommodate most dietary restrictions. There will be a limited number of Gluten Free lunches (Chef's Salad) available on the day of the event. To reserve one of these lunches, you must complete the form at the link below.
