Jay Howlett & Blah Blah Woof Woof
Jay Howlett is an award winning singer/songwriter with a powerful baritone voice and talent for storytelling. An accomplished performer with a degree in theatre, Jay writes simple honest songs about American life, the experiences that bring us together and those that tear us apart. He is a troubadour; a storyteller and a performing songwriter. His somewhat twisted sense of humor and childlike amazement combine to entertain and engage an ever-growing audience.
Celebrating the release of his fourth studio release, If I Had an Angel, Jay (guitar and vocals) is joined by Patrick Feehan (keyboards and vocals) and Rolfe Wyer (bass, guitar and vocals) collectively known as Blah Blah Woof Woof. The trio offers up at mix of folk, Americana, country and acoustic blues sweetened with just a hint of Celtic. Their three-part harmony and multi-instrumentation keeps their sound ever-changing. Lively and thoughtful, poignant and absurd, you won't know where they will musically take you next, but you are certain to enjoy the ride.
