Sept 17 - 7:30 pm - Musical Theatre with Octavia Sexton
Are you a triple threat? Or would you like to learn what it might be like to be one? Sing, dance and act in this super fun teaser class with Musical Theater professional, Octavia Sexton. In this class, Octavia will guide students through a short and fun choreography, spoken/sung words, and character acting. Get a taste of what Broadway might be like! Wear dance class clothes, and bring a pair of character shoes if you have them.
Sept 24 - 7:30 pm - Kickline with The One, The Only Inga
Ever dreamed of moving in perfect synchronicity like the Rockettes? Not sure if you can kick your leg over your head, or even above the waist, but want to try? This class is designed for those who have some dance background, but may have never danced in tandem with other dancers. You'll learn safe ways to hold (and not hold) when in a kick line, and build a simple, executable choreography. Inga has years of dance and choreography experience, and dances in a kick line with the infamous Atomic Bombshells.
Oct 1 - 7:30pm - Chair Dancing with Octavia Sexton
Nope, it's not Chair Yoga. Nor is it the Horah. This is BURLESQUE chair dancing, a la Cabaret! Learn tips and tricks for working with the chair as a dance prop from Burlesque Performer Octavia Sexton. You'll learn specific moves as well as general principles for dancing around, on, and with a chair in a Burlesque routine. This class is designed for those who have some basic dance experience. Please bring character shoes or low heels if you have them.

Oct 15 - 7 pm - Stage Makeup with Fuchsia Foxx
Show your face for the world to see! Learn the fundamentals of foundation, eyes, lips and cheeks with professional stylist and Babeland Event Planner, Fuchsia Foxx! She has styled hundreds of women for pinup photo shoots, and also guest teaches Makeup classes at Cornish College of the Arts. Please bring your own makeup kit (or arrange with us to have a special consultation at Atomic Cosmetics), and $10 additional will be charged for lashes, adhesive, and lip glitter for you to take home with you.
Oct 15 - 8:30 pm - Intro to Boylesque with Waxie Moon
Boylesque is more than just men doing Burlesque - it's a super sexy striptease sensation sweeping the nation! No matter what body you're born in, you can explore the showy, dressy, sexy and fun world of Boylesque. Striptease knows no gender, and the sex you're born into doesn't necessarily need to be what you portray on stage! This is an informative introductory class open to all curious boylesquers, taught by Seattle's gender-bending-queer-lady-boylesque-performance-art-solo-stripping-sensation, Waxie Moon. There will be no nudity in this class, but bring an extra button down shirt to practice stripping.
Oct 22 - 7pm - Music Editing for Burlesque with Luminous Pariah
How do you mix two songs into one? Cut off the beginning, or the end of a song? Edit in a cool sound in the middle? It's easier than you think! With simple free computer programs you too can edit your song to match your vision! Learn the basics with The Luminous Pariah, international boylesque star known for his delightful musical choices.
Oct 22 8:30 pm - Barrlesque with Gabriela Scherrer
Barrlesque is Brand New! This hour-long workout is inspired by a traditional ballet class (movements at the barre, center and across the room). It combines cardiovascular, strengthening, flexibility and balance exercises with the purpose of increasing the performer's stamina and quality of movement on stage. A basic knowledge of dance is required (2 years ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, or other dance training), please wear fitness clothes. Class is held in bare feet. Gabriela is a dancer, performer, Bio Queen and a Barre3 certified instructor at Barre3 Seattle!
Oct 29 - 7pm - BQ Workout with The One, The Only Inga
Get fit and sexy all at the same time! Using Burlesque-styled dance moves, combined with simple and safe fitness techniques, The One, The Only Inga will pump you up! Have fun and feel the burlesque burn in this introductory fitness class. Wear gym clothes you can sweat in and wear sneakers! Bring your water bottle, cuz you're gonna sweat it out!
Oct 29 - 8:30 pm - Jazz Dance (beginning) with Octavia Sexton
Would you love to move beyond "Jazz hands" and expand your Jazz dance repertoire? Or perhaps pick up some moves to add some Fosse-style dance to your burlesque routine? Trained dancer Octavia Sexton brings this fun dance technique class so you can test the waters of Jazz! Class includes a full warm-up, across-the-floor, and short choreography. Please wear dance/gym clothes, and jazz flats or jazz sneakers.
Nov 5 - 7pm - Maximum Stage Presence with Waxie Moon
Crank up your stage presence to a 10 using tried and true techniques taught by Waxie Moon. You will learn to use stillness, grace, power, and charisma to draw attention while on stage. You will hear the pin drop, followed by thunderous applause.
Nov 5 - 8:30 pm - Kicks, Jumps, Turns with Ruby Mimosa
How do they do it? Add some fancy styling and tricks to your dance routines with this fun and challenging workshop with Atomic Bombshell and whip-split expert Ruby Mimosa! This class will include a full warm-up, across-the-floor, and practice in kicks, jumps and turns. Floor is hardwood bamboo on DuraFloor. Please wear ballet slippers, jazz flats or jazz sneakers to class.
