| Description |
Hosted by Tuleyome (www.tuleyome.org) and the Sierra Club Yolano Group (motherlode.sierraclub.org/yolano), this year's films include "The Last Descent. This film shows world class whitewater kayaking on some of the world's most amazing rivers that are being threatened by large scale hydroelectric projects. The filmmakers will be introducing "The Last Descent" and will be available at the festival for questions at intermission.
The master of ceremonies for the event will be award-winning science fiction writer Kim Stanley Robinson. There will also be a silent auction featuring items such as a wheelbarrow of Sierra Nevada Beer, biodynamic wines from Frey Vineyards, overnight stays at Wilbur Hot Springs, and a whitewater kayaking trip with "The Last Descent" filmmakers.
Trailers for the films can be viewed on Tuleyome's Facebook page. |
